Virtual Consignment - Coming Soon

Each season I take on a serious undertaking of consigning and working at three different local sales. This season, between February 12 - March 12, Kevin, Josh and I (yes, they help out - yay!) will work a total of 67 hours at three different consignment sales. For that effort, I will shop first at all three sales (thereby getting the best deals/clothes), will earn a higher percentage of my sales at one of the sales and a $50 credit at two of the sales. AND, I will get to see some of my FAVORITE people and renew friendships with people I only get to see a couple times a year. So, while it sounds like a lot of work, it's not. I get to "trade" Ellie's last season's spring/summer clothes for a new set and usually end up only paying a little out of pocket when it's all said and done. If you haven't considered it before -- look into it. It's definitely worth the energy.

So this weekend I've gotten out Ellie's last spring/summer clothes and am going about the process of checking for stains, washing, ironing, hanging, matching up outfits, etc. Prior to putting the first batch in the first sale, I like to do a "virtual" consignment for friends whose kiddos might be a little younger than Ellie and want to get some good deals on some nice clothes.

To that end, in the next day or two, I will post a link on this site with a Picasa photo album that has Ellie's clothes along with descriptions/photos/prices. If you are interested, I will have clothes ranging in size from 6 months - 24 months. The largest majority are 18 months.

I hope you stop back and find some goodies.

For those interested in the sales I'll be working and shopping this spring, they are:

Encores and More
Once Around the Block Kids
Encores and More North

Click on them to go to their websites. Come join me as a consignnor, worker or a shopper!

I give you credit for getting me into the consignment sales. I found a sale in California last fall, and have found another not too far from where I live now. Got to start tagging my stuff!
