The Coffee Conundrum Continues

You read a few days ago about how I can never get my coffee order right at this location:


And obviously I'm "not" lovin' it because it's never right. BUT, being a connoisseur of a "freebie", I had a free coffee coupon that was going to expire on December 31, and I was working that day. So.... I plan to stop to get a coffee at my local store thinking my odds are about to change. And change they did.

I ordered at the drive-thru and pulled around to the window to hand over my coupon. As I was handing it off to the drive-thru guy, the wind grabbed it and off it went to the roof!! I just looked at him and said, "Well." He said, "Sorry." I said, "I guess I just won't get the coffee." He just smiled. ARGHHHH

I did manage to travel around to the front of the store where I FOUND my coupon (of all things), drove back around and ordered my drink again, presented my coupon AND got my drink -- which was perfectly right. Ah, justice.

An interesting note -- as I was typing this I had visited the McD's website to leave a comment about the fact that another local McD's didn't know how to ring a coupon and handed me both the money and the coupon back, telling me to just pull up to the pick up window and "See if they can figure it out." Well, surprise, the email bounced back as undeliverable. HA!!! I give up. The heavens are telling me to just quit going there.

I think I had the same coupon. LOL I can't believe they didn't just give you the coffee the first time around! Hope they got your order right anyway! :)
