Saturday was a busy day. It was also incredibly cold with temps hovering around 45* all day.
Josh had a football game -- the last regular season game -- at 2:00. The team they faced were supposed to be a good challenge, but apparently the Vikings were pumped because they beat the opposition with a final score of 38-0 in the third quarter, making them the 2009 11-12 AAA Division Champions -- WHOO HOO!! Next week starts the play-offs with the Vikings facing Springfield.
Did I mention it was uber-cold out? But, Ellie was certainly styling with her pink hooded coat and gloves!
Notice Josh is warming his hands. Brrrr....
I haven't "tweaked" this photo yet, but I LOVE it!!! So sweet.
After all that excitement, Josh had a basketball event, "Meet the Dragons" at 5:30 that went until 8:00. By that time Ellie was in melt-down mode and my all-day-long headache was killing me.
Ellie had her first cotton candy. She fed most of it to Kevin and then sucked on the paper wrapper. This girl doesn't know what she's missing!!
The Lady Dragons loved Ellie!
Ready to play.
Up for two ...
It's good!

It was a fun, but busy day. For a few weeks football and basketball will overlap and we'll be running on Saturdays. But, what's new?
And, today, I did nothing much because I just feel funky. I'm not sure what it is, but hopefully it will be gone very soon. AND... the straw that broke the camel's back for me -- our microwave broke today. I'm not sure how to cook without it. *smile* It couldn't have come at a worse time. Oh well.
