New Measurements

Today we were fortunate to get new measurements and to see that Ellie is growing. She has gained weight and has gone from 9 pounds last month to 10.5 pounds this month. There was no increase in her height so she's still a mere 21 1/2" long. She's a petite little princess. I suspect, based on the last two sets of measurements that she will be right at 12 pounds when I pick her up. Friday she will turn five months old.

That "ust" should be a "just". I type so bad when I am in a hurry!

Still a peanut! She's still young and will have plenty of time to catch up when she's with her forever family!

It's great to hear she's growing! The height measurements can be hard to do accurately, so don't worry that it doesn't show a change. At her age, they start slowing their growth rate, so don't be surprised if she gains only about a pound in the next 6 weeks.

My son Gabriel was small also, only 13 lbs. at 6 months old, and easily wore 3-6 mo. size. I loved the fact that he could wear smaller clothes, and for longer! At 2 1/2, he still wears 18 mo. size.
