Email and Photos

Guess what? I can type with one hand -- not well, but .... If you send me an email and I don't respond, know that I read and LOVE them all, To reply I have to go to a web-based service and tpye in your addy and then send a reply and it's hard to do right now. Ellie is sleeping again and thankfully so is Jennifer who has to be tired.

Here are a few cute pix . . .

Mama, right click on the photo, choose Save As and then you can save to your computer and print. You can also right click on the picture and choose Print.

Marlene, if you read this, could Pete bring us some orajel and small bags to put diapers in? I know we will run out before the plane ride. I'll give him $$ when I see him. Thanks.

Ellie with the doll Josh picked out several years ago. It looks like her!

Thank you Terri for the shirt. She surely was!!

The cute factor here is too much!!!

I am so happy for y'all. Ellie is just beautiful!!!! :-D I'm so happy you are managing with all the emotional challenges and blown out diapers. Y'all will find your groove and it won't be "nutin' but a thang" in a few weeks. I so wish we were closer so we could see and cuddle her in person. Give her a squeeze and kiss for me!

Hoping that the worst is over for little Ellie. I am confident your love will take her in and help her grow!

She is such a sweetie!!! She looks a little like Gracie did in pictures as a baby; serious, but beautiful.

You know, in that part pf the world, the superstition goes that being pooped or peed on is lucky and means wealth is headed your way. Noah pooped on me everyday in the beginning and I'm still waiting;) Unless they meant a wealth of love, in which case, I hit the jack-pot! As have you.

Don't forget to get her checked for Salmonella when you get home. It's easily, if somewhat disgustingly, done.

Do I need to clarify that it is only lucky to be pooped on by babies? That should go without saying, right?

Gosh, Maria - she is so incredibly beautiful! She is looking more peaceful every day. You are doing a wonderful job and will look back on this with very fond memories (even the poo-blowouts)! Do you have plastic pants and/or swim diapers for the plane? We "double bagged" E all the way home and that was our lifesaver!

Sounds like things are getting better! The third day for us was the world of difference! Be sure to have plenty of diapers and wipes, and outfits for the plane ride home. We ran out of all of the above because we had 2 delays, and it took us twice the amount of time to get home. We had to borrow from another family traveling. I wasn't prepared for traveling delays! Make sure someone calls the airport before you arrive to be sure your plane is leaving when it is suppose to. We lost our hotel in the middle of the night because we went to the airport for our flight at 4am and the plane was delayed to the next day at noon. What a nightmare! The stories I could tell you! We will pray all goes smoothly for you though.

Well, she is pretty in pink! Ellie is so alert and focused!
I love her name by the way-it sound like the name of someone you have known for a long time! Your one handed typing is better than my two handed typing.
Are you finding some cute outfits for her to wear when she is older? We did that with Vonne Mei when we were in China and she wore various outfits in several years worth of Christmas pictures. Vonne Barnett

HAHA--even when they are older you have to type with one hand and usually with a child sitting on your lap! In my case, also with one hanging on me!
She looks soooo adorable! I'm glad she seems to be resting a bit more. Sometimes just a change can throw everything off.

Okay, so I should have known I would get emotional when I saw pictures of you and Ellie for the first time! I am pregnant after all. But I didn't realize I would break down in tears in the middle of my office!!! Everyone was so worried something was wrong with me - but I assured them they were tears of happiness!

I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to meet the princess! I am still praying for you too!

By the way, Ellie will have a new "girl" friend in the nursery very soon!!! That's right - it's a GIRL!
